Logging in
Before the XC begins you will receive a 6 digit PIN which is unique to the event and your role as the Vet Check. Use this PIN to log in.
Class Selection
This screen shows all of the XC classes for the event as well as the time they are scheduled to start and finish. Touch a class to begin the Vet Check for that class.
Vet Check
After touching a class it will then go to the Vet Check screen. This screen allows you to search for a rider by number.
Alternatively you can touch the 1,2,3 icon in the top right of the screen to view a list of all riders in the class and then select a rider from the list. Riders who have already been vet checked will have a door icon next to them.
Once you have put in a rider's number it will list the rider's name and their horse's name and give you 3 options. Presented, Passed and Elimination. When the rider arrives in the vet check area you can touch Presented. When the rider passes the vet check you can then touch Passed. The infomation is immediately uploaded. You do not need to press save. You can now search for the next rider.
Elimination
If you need to eliminate the rider you can touch Eliminated. This will bring up a window so you can choose the reason for the elimination by touching that reason and then press save to upload the information. To remove the elimination touch the reason again and then press save.
Comments
To add a comment for a rider touch the comment button. This will bring up a text box. You can either use the stylus in freeform mode (Pencil icon) or change to text mode to type in a comment (Letter A icon). Once you have completed the comment touch save to save the comment. To remove a comment touch the recycle icon.
Finished Class
Once the class is finished you can touch the back arrow in the top right of the screen to return to the class list.
