Before the event begins you will receive a 6 digit PIN which is unique to the event and your role as the Technical Delegate. Use this PIN to log in. Once you are logged in your device will keep you logged in even if you go to a different tab or window. If you need to swap to a different device you can log back in using your PIN.
Once you are logged in the Phases screen will appear. This screen will allow you to navigate to each phase of the event.
If you touch the Dressage button it will take you the list of classes and show the time, ring number, number of riders and judge for each class.
If you touch a class it will then show you the list of all riders in that class
From the riders list you can then touch a rider's name to view their dressage test. If there are multiple judges then you can view the test for each judge. Once you have view the test there is a return to draw button at the bottom of the test.
You can also touch the results button to view the results for the class including the difference in percentage between multiple judges or touch the placings button to view the placings for the class.
If you touch the SJ button it will take you to the list of classes for show jumping.
If you touch a class name it will show you the fence analysis matrix for that class. On the fence analysis screen you can touch a speech bubble to view any comments that have been recorded for a rider. If you touch the course plans button it will allow you to set up or edit the course plan for a class.
This screen shows the current course plans. You can set up a course plan for each level and even each division (It is rare that different divisions would use different course plans but the option is here just in case). To create or edit a course plan touch the pencil icon. If there is only 1 division for a level then the course plan for that level will be automatically assigned. If there are multiple divisions for a level then you will need to select which course plan is being used for each division by touching the select button and then selecting the course plan you wish to use. The time on course can be set to different values for each division on this screen by touching the time on course.
There are 5 steps to setting up a course plan
1. Give the plan a name. It is best to keep it simple and often the level name will suffice.
2. How many obstacles are in the course. Start/Finish and successive elements are not obstacles and are added in step 3. The minimum and maximum obstacles listed are set by the association for that level. However, you can type in any number in this field if required.
3. Most SJ courses will have obstacles with multiple efforts. To add these in first touch on the obstacle where they occur and then touch +Combination. You can add multiple efforts and you can also remove efforts.
Changing the code for an obstacle will change its number. This would only be needed in very rare situations where you don't want the jump numbers to be in sequential order or you want to change the obstacle to be 14ab. For example perhaps obstacle 6 has become unsafe and has been removed from the course. You can then renumber the remaining obstacles to skip number 6.
You can name each SJ effort. This can make it easier to remember which jump is the dazzleboard for example. However, it is not required to give every jump a name.
4. Enter the course distance in metres. The minimum and maximum distances listed are set by the association for that level. However, you can type in any distance in this field if required.
5. The system will automatically calculate the time on course based on the distance entered in step 4 and the rate for that level. If required you can override this calculation by touching override time. You can then set your own time.
Once you have completed the 5 set up steps you can then touch save to save your course plan and then return to either the plans screen or classes screen.
If you touch the XC button it will take you to the list of classes for cross country.
