How to Add Levies

Levies work as a cost that is not directly related to the class fee. There are 4x Levy options. All levies can be set up to be non refundable or have conditional pricing (See How to on Conditional Pricing).

Levies can also have intervals for events held over multiple days. Unlike Yards or Camping levy intervals are set on specific dates rather than free form text. This is because the levy is charged based on the dates when the combination is competing. For example if the Horse Levy is $16 per day and a rider is competing in Dressage which is held on Monday and SJ which is held on Wednesday the system will automatically calculate the Facility Fee to be $32. Riders have the option to pay the Facility Fee for additional days if required. For example with the previous scenario the rider could add the facility fee for Tuesday if they were staying at the Venue between the two competitions. Note: Because the exact date is used this needs to be updated when the event is copied for a future year!

Very Important Note: Setting a Levy will not add it to the Online Entry automatically if it was not used previously. You need to go to the Online Entry. Turn on Admin Toggle and then set the Levy Field to be active.

  1. Rider Levy - This Levy is charged for each rider that enters the event.
  2. Horse Levy - This Levy is charged for each horse that enters the event.
  3. Team Fee - Riders can choose to take part in a team competition. The Team Fee can be set to 0 if there is no cost to joining a team. See How to on Teams
  4. Processing and Handling Fee - This Levy is added to the overall order.
