How To Use Copy an Event
Copying an event
- Check if the event has already been created first to avoid creating duplicate events.
- Find the event you want to copy by clicking Search Archive on the events list on the manage page if the event was in the past or selecting it from the list if you are copying a future event.
- Click the overlapping squares to copy that event.
- Fill out the information for the new event. Including updating the name of the event. Some fields will be copied to the new event but not all of them.
- Remove any notices from the previous event that are no longer relevant. For example there may be a note that yards are full which needs to be removed.
- Update any fields that need to be updated. For example an extension might ask for the age of riders in 2022 but it is now 2023.
- Make sure to refresh the page before uploading an attachment so the attachment will receive the correct file name.
